Today our firefighters proudly presented their new engine- a turntable fire-escape. In front of the city hall there were shown all four (also historical) turntable fire-escapes. A lot of citizens took a look at the engines. It was the official handover to the firefighters-celebrated by the Lord Mayor Dr. Peter Dresler.

Friends of Glauchau Experiences of Lee & Jan Greever One day in 2006 we received a phone call from a friend asking us if we could host a German teacher of English who was accompanying a group of students from Glauchau.
