Dear friends in Lynchburg,

On behalf of all the members of our Friends of Lynchburg Association here in Glauchau do we wish you and your beloved ones a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and All the Best for 2010.
Let us hope that next year will be as successful as the outgoing one in our common partnership and the ever so growing friendship between our sister cities and their citizens.

    Dear Thomas and all our friends in Glauchau,

    As always, you are ahead of us in sending good wishes. We too wish all of you a wonderful merry Christmas and a most happy New Year! We have been snowed in for six days, but soon we should be able to drive on passable roads. Many people in the western counties of Virginia are still without electricity so we consider ourselves very very fortunate. We’ve been warm and have had electricity.
